Disney Behind The Scenes
Campus Edition

Due to the popularity of the Disney Channel Site Visit, Disney Channel original series executive and UCLA alumnus Jeff Brustrom ’94 hosted an on-campus version of his Behind the Scenes event.
The event featured a presentation on the creative process behind Disney Channel original live-action series followed by a Q&A session. Presentation topics included:
- The process of developing a TV show for a kid audience from concept to pilot and series production.
- Duties of creative executives in the development and current series departments
- Touchstones and recurring themes in kids’ programming
- The original pitch and evolution of Hannah Montana
- Casting
